Optima Health is pleased to begin offering Contract Year deductibles on traditional Optima Vantage (HMO) and Optima Plus (PPO) plans for new business! Contract Year has been a helpful and popular choice for many clients selecting our Optima Equity (HSA) and Optima Design (HRA) plans. Now new clients will have the flexibility to choose between Calendar Year and Contract Year for all group products.

A few key points:

  • At this time, Contract Year is available on traditional plans for new business only. Current clients will maintain the arrangement already in place; however, we do anticipate extending this offering to renewal business as a Phase II initiative in the future.
  • For each new business case, all plans must have a consistent arrangement - either all Contract Year, or all Calendar Year.
  • Please select the desired agreement and communicate appropriately with your Client and Sales Executive when finalizing your quote and case implementation. The arrangement cannot be changed retroactively.
