Expanding Across the State: Hello Southwest Virginia!
By now you have already heard the news that we are expanding our business into the southwestern part of Virginia. Extending our reach into this market has been one of our main goals for some time now. As part of our strategic initiative, we have added Hospital Corporation of America to our network and renewed our partnership with Carilion Health System to provide a complete network in this region. This network, combined with our wide variety of affordable health plans will provide you with a competitive alternative for your clients.
Our plan is a phased approach. Our commercial lines of business will be available to sell first, then Medicaid, and followed by the Optima Individual Product.
Some of your clients may already be familiar with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) since it is available as a stand-alone product statewide. Not to worry – for those that have not heard of us, it will not be long – our multimedia campaign will launch in October with billboards, print, and television commercials. In addition, as part of our launch we plan to fully ingratiate ourselves with the community. Our plan for the New Year is to open a prominent office right in the heart of downtown Roanoke and employ additional staff and support.
With our strong brand and your support, I am confident that we will see success in this market, just as we have in the Hampton Roads, Central, and Western regions over the last 25 years.
