Tractor Trailer is Latest Marketing Promotion
Optima Health has wrapped a 53-foot tractor trailer with its logo, mission statement, and images to promote the health plan across its service area.
In December, the big rig was unveiled at the Optima Health headquarters in Virginia Beach. The trailer is the first to be wrapped with this particular technique. Other vehicles have the company logo on them, but nothing like this full-scale endeavor.
It happened by chance when a faded tractor trailer was in need of a new paint job. The marketing department came up with the idea to wrap the vehicle similar to how Sentara Healthcare, Optima Health’s parent company, has wrapped its mammography van.
The tractor trailer will be used throughout the Sentara Healthcare and Optima Health service area, which encompasses most of Virginia and will deliver supplies to hospitals, offices, and facilities.
Optima Health’s CEO, Michael Dudley, joined in the fun by sitting in the driver’s seat and pulling the big horn. We encourage you to toot your horn when you see the trailer on the road!
